Hi
Need to insure a house which is on a flood plain but has NEVER flooded? Any idea who to contact for a good quote. Unfortunately do not know the exact date house was built/first inhabited to enable me to put this in any of the answers they require?
Thanks

This is one of the risks builders are taking these days, by building so much on flood plains - given the huge floods which have taken place in recent years, you can't blame the insurers for charging for the increased risk.
Do you mean buildings or contents insurance? We're in Flood Zone 3 and Barclays insured us for a decent quote for contents.
