Can any inform me if i need planning permission to have a conservatory/extra room on the back of my property it will have low block wall on the sides and front with windows on the side and sliding doors at the front and a flat roof done with sterling board and felt thanks for any information

think it depends on % of proposed exstension against your existing property. Limit used to be 15% - not sure if this is still true. Why not give your planning office a call - normally very helpful.
They're treated just as any other extension as far as PP is concerned. Within certain limits, it may be "permitted development" - (no PP needed), but check it out here .......................

Also bear in mind that irrespective of whether you need PP, you will require Building Regs approval if either the area is greater than 30 square metres and/or you intend to remove the original external doors between the existing dwelling and the new structure.
