Surely the question is : do I want/need a convertible. Personally, wouldn't have one if it were half-price.

Dropheads are risky things to own if you live in thug or theft areas.
Maintenance issues with some hoods .. most manufacturers have issues, although this one engineered as well as anything.

It depends upon how much you wish to drive with the roof down & how frequently you might need the luggage carrying capacity. As an aside, why have you not considered the Clubman?
