A judge in Turkey has ordered that a young man accused of murdering two Irish women must give bone marrow samples in order to ascertain his real age. Is this an accurate process?

Here's a picture of him with the daughter of one of the women he's alleged to have killed.

Hi! Jomifle...yepp improving....home on Sunday.
You could saw him in half and count the annular rings? In reality no, there is no way of telling with accuracy, imo it's a bit of hocus-pocus at the end of which, the judge will do whatever he wants, justifying it with pseudo-science. No cell in your body lasts longer than 7 years, and those are deep in your teeth, (unless that is, you have false ones!).
you sent them to the dentist to get their ball size checked cd? Where have i been going wrong with my dentist?
bednobs, dentists have a special drill for taking core samples, but you don't really want to see them using it.
Lol @ bednobs! I could probably have phrased that better.

We had a case of a couple of lads brought to my consultants clinic as they'd made an incredible journey to get to this country, and as well as some scarring which looked like the result on injuries inflicted on them, there was some question as to how old they actually were. The youngest said he was 14 going on 15 and the eldest that he was 16 going on 17... and they then broke in to song. Ok, maybe the latter didn't happen.

Any how, there's an endocribe professor who has a clinic the same time as my consultant so she did the boys paediatric assessment and history etc... and then sent them to the professor who looked at their testicals and measure them and from that deducted that both of them were more likely older than the 16 - 18 mark (I think, this was a couple of months ago now). So then my consutant referred them to a forensic (??) dentist, and at this point I have no idea what happens/happened (well I know the original place we referred them to then said they couldn't do it and referred to somewhere who said they could), as I don't really know anything about how you age someone using their teeth.
