I have version 1.51.2.1300, when I try to access the program it informs me the latest version has been downloaded and ready to install. (not the database, the whole program).
will my license carry over to the new version or will I have to pay for a new license?

I've lost the activation key, if I need to re-enter it.
I use same version (Pro) which was updated to above version on 09/12.
New version is 1.60.0.1800. Few things changed. New database numbering system among others.
You will not need to pay til a major version change (probably v2)
Uninstall it and download the free edition. AFAIK, the only difference between the two is that the Pro edition does its stuff automatically.

Generally speaking, you don't really need this. Just run the free edition, say, every fortnight or whenever you think the system might have become infected.
The key is/can be found in the Registry under ..
HKLM/Software/Malwarebytes 'key'

I like the active protection, malicious website blocking in the pro version MarkRae.
OK, I'll let it go ahead and update. Thank you.
Pro version has flash scanning and a couple of extra bits and bobs.
Keep it if you have a key.

Thanks again, I'll have a hunt for that now.

Many thanks, Appreciate your patience.
Great : )
Malwarebytes have just upgraded their both versions with extra features as of yesterday there is not much difference between the free one and the paid one. I use the free one and dont have any issues with it.
Indeed. There really is no need to pay for the Pro version...
