Thinking about Goa as a holiday destination over Xmas - been told the South is the best for beaches, is this true?? any recommendations would really be appreciated - thankyou

My answer is simple, don't go to Goa but save yourself a fortune and have as good a time and as good weather and go to The Gambia. Half the price of the Carribean and Indian Ocean resorts and a super location. It is a poor country but pick the hotel with at least four+ stars and you'll not regret it.



PS We are about to enjoy our fourteenth Winter break in The Gambia.
