Is there anyone out there who doesn't like being out of their 'Comfort Zone'?
I'll go places but I get bored easy and want to go home. Even visiting my own kids in their homes I can't wait to go home.
I'm ok with people coming to me but going to them after a couple of hours thats enough. perhaps its something to do with getting older I dunno or is it just me and a phobia I've gained?

I've got to make an effort even to go out.

I know what you mean Star, The getting ready... Showering when you don't want a shower, the hair drying & the panic when it won't go as you want it, putting clothes on that aren't comfy, those shoes that look nice but you'd rather go out in your comfy slippers. Then going out in the dark freezing weather for What?
I'm a real 'Party Pooper' aren't I? Never used to be I once was the life and soul...

Jem, it's getting older that does it, I would agree that nothing would have stopped me going out for a party, especially New Years, now if i watch tv till midnight, that would be a minor miracle. As to comfort zone, i'm in it, and intend staying as long as humanly possible.
I hardly ever want to go out these days and I've got to admit I have developed a fear of flying over the past few years. The last time I flew was to Bulgaria 5 years ago. I just do UK holidays now but even the thought of a long car journey brings on a fear of dread these days. I wish I could snap out of it.
