I got one of the above for Christmas along with an 8GB SD card to use with it; most of my photos are on my laptop; if I buy a USB SD card reader will I be able to put photos onto the SD card or does it just work the other way round to get pictures from the card to the laptop? TIA

memory cards work just like any other storage device. You can put data in or out.

Hahaha, have just discovered a card reader on my laptop, good job I thought to check before ordering one!

Another question about the photoframe now; the plug when plugged in makes a static-y noise which gets worse when plugged into the frame and worse again when the frame is switched on. Any ideas what could be causing this?
