How do I get the Blaupunkt Car 300 radio/cassette out of my dash ? I need to check the connections as it only picks up signals when you're right close to a big transmitter. Thanks.

Rae you sure it's your car? lol You can release the stereo using a thin plastic tool. If you look closely you'll see tiny holes at either end of the facia. You stick the tol in there, release the catches and out it should come. Garage/car hi fi blokes have them.
if im thinking of the correct head unit, there are 4 small grub screws (2 either end) if you remove these you can then use the tool (or a couple of small screw drivers/hex drivers, or anyting else that is round and 3mm in diameter. from your fault discription it could be the antenna conection in to the unit, however it is more likly to be the antenna its self, check for bad earthing bent broken conections etc...if it is a bee-sting type antenna, check for any damage the the plastic coating etc.....
