Your 11 year old what? Child, dog, what? This is in Animals and Nature, so just wondered.

I would think he might just be getting old. Or as they are prone to the same illnesses as we are he may be diabetic or anaemic. Best to take him to the vets and let him have a blood test to find out if there is anything wrong. Lots of things are treatable if you find out in time.
