not really enough info. Has he been checked over by the vet for a medical reason? recently neutered? times/places of weeing? triggers? is he left alone? how long for? have you thoroughly cleaned? how did you housetrain him? is this new or has he always done it? what breed of dog? have you other dogs/pets/kids, visiting or resident? Anything been stressing you or the dog recently?
This could be a good Christmas pressie for your pup... it's full of very insightful advice.

Male dogs do pee alot when out walks as they are leaving there scent, or you could try these

NO! do not put nappies on dogs unless they are incontinent and there is no medical treatment
was only joking about the nappies for dogs. MY brothers wife bought some for her female beagle so when she is in heat she doesnt mess her cream coloured carpet, I grew up with female dogs they didnt make that much of a mess when in heat, the odd spot here and there in the house but easily cleaned.
As Woofgang said, more info required.

He hasn't been castrated yet. We crate trained him. He'd wee in his crate at first but soon learned not to. By about 6 months we thought he was fully trained and started to leave him out of his crate while we were at work. He is left on his own for a couple of hours in the morning til my daughter comes home for lunch then a couple in the afternoon but, he has access to the garden via the cat flap. He will wee even if we are home. He's a cockapoo and not stressed.
has he been vet checked to see if there is a physical problem? Cockers and poodles are very bright dogs (as well as working breeds) - he maybe is stressed through lack of stimulation and work.
If it's any consolation, I've got the same problem with my 13 month-old Welsh Collie, Meg. She was doing fine till Elsa, my old GSD died and now she's reverted. Meg's a dear little thing but she'll go out and run round for ages, then come back in and wee! I've had dogs all my life (always German Shepherds) and haven't had a problem house-training any of them. Any suggestions from anyone would be very welcome. K x
