I had an email saying it was from Skye, that Paypal had taken £49 from my account for a call service, and if I didn't agree with this charge to click on the link to challenge it, well when I (wisely) just hopped on over to my Paypal account (NOT clicking on their link) there was no such charge on there. So, obviously a scam. Just a reminder to NOT click on any links in your emails, and report thing like this to Paypal: forward the email to [email protected] and then delete the email. The scumbags!

There are many scams to watch out for nearing Xmas.
I get quite a few claiming to be from Paypal. The sender's address usually appears to be [email protected]. I doubt that is the spammer's real email address (otherwise someone would have closed the address down) - I assume they manage to 'spoof' it somehow. How do they do that?
Always good advice not to click links on unsoclicited e-mails you aren't sure of.
I get some that claim to be from PayPal but the actual email address is @peypal, just so you're aware and remain vigilant.

The usually have the 'Your account has been limited' header on the message.
