I enjoyed the books.

Went to the cinema to see the film and it was the most abysmal film I have ever watched.Well I actually walked out along with the rest of the audience as it was total drivel.

The books are always better then the film, is you're a reader, like me, and read the books first, the film is always disapointing, and never like the book... Havent read Seeds of Yesterday, or Garden of Shadows yet though...

Good read bad film. It made it into the top 200 list compiled by the BBC of the nation's favourite books, although it is an old list!
