My friend and I where trying to video over facebook today, she cld see me but I could see here

She downloaded app etc off facebook, we cld hear each other, cant find where the cam is, but there was a free 30day trial that she must have had, but its wanting her to buy it? does she need to? where shld she look? does she need to down load somtheing? Help please!

Sorry meant to say I cldnt see her! Doh! and its a laptop she has, cam is there but cant find where to start it up is.
Are you on a phone, alinic? - this abbreviated language is really hard to read...

I would say that the answer is yes, if she didn't tell them before the 30 days was up that she didn't want to take out the paid subscription, then they will expect their money. That's the way it works, she needs to look very hard at the small print she signed up to when she activated the 30-day free trial. If the 30 days aren't up yet, she needs to tell them straight away if she doesn't want it.
There is a dedicated keyboard key on may laptops to start the cam .. like on Dell's.
Check the back rows of function keys.

What is the app? You might not need one. If you want to record, use CamStudio (free)
Chat software (many of them) are quite capable of passing chat with video over network to another user.
Guys, it's not just where it is that alinic's asking, it's about having to pay for the sub - I've replied but I could be wrong.
