This is old info, I had a course of them about 14 years ago when my hay fever was quite bad. These were desensetising injections, I think about eight, one a week. they injected you with tiny doses of what ever you were allergic to. It wasn't a complete success but it did make a considerable difference to how bad the symptoms were and in my perception, they have never been so bad again. Shortly after I had mine, they were stopped because of the risk of anaphylactic shock (like the nut allergy people can get.) I remember when i had the injections, I had to sit in the GP surgery for 20 mins afterwards presumably so that if I did collapse someone could save my life!!

Thanks, but i was looking for information on the injection you get once and it protects you all summer
There's an injection you can have once? I've never heard of that and i've suffered with hayfever all my life. As woofgang said, i had the injections when I was a kid, but i didn't know there were others.
