Why do people hate the Beckhams?

Just read an article on the DM site and the main item in the story was the fact Victoria Beckham was yet again holding her baby daughter instead of having her in a pushchair, as if this was a bad thing.

Then it's filled with hundreds of comments below, mostly slating VB for some reason. I really do not get why people have such a dislike of her.

OK, so it might get a bit boring seeing their faces in the papers every day but they at least don't feel the need to sell their family photos to the highest bidder (not that they need the cash). She realised a while ago she isn't the best singer in the world so put her efforts into fashion, which she seems to have a knack for. I can't think of anything she has done that is so horrendous so why do people love to slate her so much?

If there was any one single person in the world I would trust to hold my baby while wearing heels, it would be VB. She wears those shoes every day of the year, I'm sure she's used to walking in them by now. And anyone could fall over, heels or not.

I'm confused as to why you'd stick up for Kim Kar. JJ, when she is yet to display any actual talent I believe, other than having a good arse but not so quick to defend a couple who do have some provable talent.

i don't, they have a big family, loads of money, a nice lifestyle, so what's to be jealous of

More chance of falling over in extremely high heels though and I did say I like the Beckhams - who are you, their publicist !

In the first few months it's better for babies to lie flat in a pram as it helps the spine to develop better. She uses the baby as another Fashion Accessory and as someone mentioned elsewhere, she is never seen carrying a baby bag or any other paraphernalia associated with babies, which would indicate it's for publicity shots before she hands baby back to the Nanny.

its more of jealousy that is expressed by the media. The sentiments clearly point out fingers at them but if they really hated the acts then they would provide some back up proof on what is the right way to do this.

Pity she looks so sulky as if she thinks she is superior to everyone else. Personally I don't care but if she would only smile I think it would help. I think David Beckham is very goodlooking, and all footballers seem to be thick so I wouldn't hold that against him. All they know about is football and they are so boring about it. The Beckhams always have their children with them instead of giving them to a nanny. That's good I reckon.

I've no more right to tell VB how to look after her child than I have any other person. Her three boys seem to have done alright so far.

Starby, it would be nice to see her smile more but whenever she does crack a smile in public she gets a barage of abuse for how awful she looks when she smiles.
