Adobe fireworks / web photo album

Hi folks - anyone able to help with this?
I've been using the same Adobe suite for many years - it's version MX - it's always worked fine but now the web photo album command won't function. Specifically, it says the source folder is empty (it isn't - it's got the usual jpg images in it).
Any ideas? I'm working on a Windows 7 OS.
Alternately any reliable free download you can rcommend for making a web album and embedding in html?

Please perform the following:
Go to dreamweaver
Choose command and select Photo album
Enter a title in a photo album text field
You will be noticed a color gray rectangle at the top of the album
You can aslo enter additional two lines
Choose the folder which contains the image source
Click browse button right after source image folder
Choose the destination of the folder
Choose the size that you want
Choose format and click OK
