error message spool 32 kernell 32dll cant be found

am using ME on a laptop and a day or so ago lost access to my printer and was asked to reinstall it but cant because I am getting the above error message....outlook express started giveing 'cant poll server ' messages at the same time ....is this situation fixable or will I have to reinstall ME ?

In start-settings-printers is your old printer still listed? If yes then delete it then then reinstall it. The spool error is definitely related to printing so this would be the first step to fix it.
