ELO my faves too, also Slade, Sweet, Smokie and a lot of the early 70s stuff was fantastic, Middle Of The Road and 60s carryovers Marmalade and Tremeloes, what fantastic days growing up and knowing all the songs and following TOTP every week without fail. In my quest to own them all I spent all my money on records and now have over 100,000, what wonderful pleasure...

I guess so Stevie, we have the same monicker too. I can talk about great music all night, there are so many fantastic records, after collecting all the UK hits I later bought US Hot 100 hits then onto non hits in the UK, I am obsessed but make no apology for that, I now present Pop Quizzes and DJ all over the place, I love it! Am glad there are people still out there like me.

Pop quizzes, great, where do you operate?
Central Leeds Thursday nights, outskirts of Wakefield Wednesdays and Sundays, I can give you the names of the venues no probs and I play my whole collection on all the nights. You're very welcome to attend.
Pink Floyd, Yes, The Eagles, Led Zep, Deep Purple.

But the best album of the 1970s was, with no shadow of a doubt, Roy Harper's 'Stormcock'.

Venues would be great I have a few mates of the same musical taste, maybe mark the “know it all” might turn up?
Just skimmed thought the 50-odd answers. Why has no one mentioned FACES. (yeah I know, Rod was mentioned). ps Dont some of you people sleep?
I love Queen, ELO, Supertramp and loads of others. I also like ELP.
The Quizzes are at The Wellington Leeds on a Thursday and Fox and Hounds Newmillerdam, Wakefield on Wed and Sun nights. Look forward to meeting you all and discussing all things 70s Classic Tracks.
