Depends on size of spud - 10 mins about, pierce it first, maybe crisp off in normal oven
I do 5 minutes, flip it over and the same again... That's quite a big potato though.. :) Then I have it with loads of butter and cheese! Yummmmm :P
Depends on size and power - 7 to 9 mins. Finish under medium grill for crispy finish.
Make sure you pierce it well, otherwise it will explode.

Thanks Mosaic, 10 mins should give me enough time to cook up a bit of mince too. I say "mince" but its really that cardboard tasting soya stuff!

Thanks for all the other suggestions too, by the time I had replied you guys had added to it too......
I usually slice them about halfway through an average sized potato(s) for about 5 mins then flip them over as Erin said with butter and cheese is great but mince is better IMO.

I never thought of grilling for the crispiness, thanks for the tip.
Prick all over with a fork. Rub olive oil and salt in. Wrap in kitchen roll. Micro 2-3 mins each side. Squeeze and if still hard another min each side.
It works for me!.
Cooking time will depend on size and longer, if you do two together.
Good luck.
