Didnt know which catergory to put this in so sorry if its in the wrong one. My husband and I have recently taken over the leases on three pubs and we are trying to ensure all three have the correct health and safety posters on display. I have been trawling the internet and have some idea of which ones to obtain, ie: Health and Safety Law Poster, Accident Book, COSHH poster etc. Is anyone willing to give me some valid advice as to which ones are mandatory and which ones are not ? Thank you in advance.

H & S law with details of who is the H&S contact on the premised and where the first aid box is i think is madatory if you have over 5 employees, as is the accident book fire evac procedures and a H&S policy, as to the others it does depend on what you are doing
sorry if you employ anyone you have to display the poster

Thank you will have a look at that website.
you'll want to have a look at having fire risk assessments for each of your buildings as well
You also need to make sure your certificate of public and employers liability insurance is hung up in each premises.
The is no such thing as a public liability certificate - public liability isn't a statutory class of insurance and therefore is not evidenced by a certificate. Employers' Liability is a statutory requirement and therefore a certificate is issued and the Act requires this to be displayed.
