Has anybody used this website to get Certificates?

I ordered a Death Certificate on the 21st September and visa payment was taken out the next day. I received an email confirming my order and phoned them on 4 occasions, being told its being printed. Its the same fella that answers the phone on every occasion. They advocate it takes 12 days to receive the document, I am still waiting.

I am getting a little suspicious that this is not all what it seems. (:o((

I've never used them and it does sound "sus".

In future, just go straight to the horse's mouth and order direct from this place

Thanks Barmaid - thats exactly what I am thinking - as I said, its the same guy that answers the phone, like he is sitting in his living room. Trying to ring again this morning, but its engaged, perhaps more unsatisfied customers.
And he is talking out of his nether regions when he says "its being printed". They will request the cert from the link I gave and it is the ONS who provide them. ONS only supply paper copies and he has no way of knowing at what stage the process has got to.

Can your visa card assist?
I've not checked their prices but there is a good chance you have also paid 'over the odds' . I was nearly caught out when I wanted to renew my European health card- the company at the top of the list following a google search had an official looking site but wanted an admin fee of around £15, whereas there was no charge on the government site

Barmaid - I can't use the Gov website as it doesn't deal recent death certificates.
If you go directly to the Register office where the death was registered, they should be able to provide copies. (This is where this "company" will obtain them from).
If the government site can't provide recent cerificates then I'd be very surprised if this firm could, but I'll do some digging after lunch

Thanks Barmaid that will be my next trip. Its my own stupid fault, I accidentally threw way 3 death certificates by mistake, hence the need for another one.

Factor - I will also do some digging and report the site if, as I suspect, they are a con. Thanks

I have just spoken to the guy by phone - he said it was posted this Monday out to me. He has just emailed me a copy of the Certificate, which I have printed off.
