M&S and Waitrose.....Tesco is closest to me but I am not a fan!
I prefer to go to a market, but the one i do go to is Sainsburys, good choice and the staff aren't all sitting there nattering over their tills, if you know what i mean.
oh its no problem cazzz I just go in my chauffeur driven limo ;)
Morrisons, without a doubt. Their prices are very low with their value yellow packs, and the quality never ever falls. They also have a good cafe in some of the stores, and petrol costs are usually the lowest in the area.
I live very near Sainsburys and within quick driving range of Morrisons and Lidl.
When I want a good walk, Tesco is half an hour away on foot. I make the most of them all.
Sainsburys for their "Basics" range. Iceland for frozen stuff.
Co-op is within walking distance. When I need cossetting will get the bus to the other side of town to go to Waitrose. Morrissons would mean two buses.
Aldis for basics [ and their hazelnut heaven choc] Asda for the rest [ its near Aldi] local greengrocer stall at weeends because his stuff really is fresh - lovely cherres and fresh peas this week, local english butcher and when I am flush M&S and Waitrose[quite far from me] but best of all my own little mini supermarket shed at the bottom of my garden, whenever there is a bargain offer in any store I buy and stash in the shed.
I tend to do a little bit of shopping in each of Aldi, Tesco, Asda and my local butcher, works for me!...............
When my husband was alive and we had the car my favourite was definitely Morrisons but now I am tied to Tesco online. If Morrisons did an online service I would have bought from them. However, I must admit that up to now Tesco have been very good and their website is easy to navigate.
I buy certain things from Aldi and the majority of stuff at Asda (initially went there as they were the only supermarket with almost guaranteed double-baby trolleys) but it is a lot cheaper than the other ones. One of our Tesco's I can't go to because you have to go through an underground car park and I am not confident about getting my car up the swirly out-ramp thing, the other one has terrible traffic holds ups. There is never enough staff at the Morrisons and Sainsburys is full of very judgmental people in it (and it is so expensive).
For me, its got to be Waitrose, I love shopping there! It might be more expensive than other supermarkets, but that doesn't bother me, I like it because it has great food and customer service.
