Noticed this morning that some creature/s have been chomping my fallen pears. Any ideas?

Can you match the teeth marks ?
if you get CSI involved they'll tell you that from saliva samples found on the scene it was a ginger cat, weighs about 11lb, about size 7 feet, possibly Nike trainers circa 2005, slight limp from a cruciate operation performed in Michigan 1979 due to a Stoolball accident, listens to David Bowie..etc..etc
Birds? Mice? Rats?

Horses and sheep too - but they tend to eat the lot.

Blackbird is the main suspect. They eat quite a lot but don't finish them off
slugs and wasps are another 2 suspect. Starlings like fruit as well
magpies are at our apples as soon as they hit the ground, there are still a few wasps around, picked up some half eaten ones this morning, only to find the little stingy devils chomping away.
Blackbirds .. Slugs
The cows wait for ours to drop
Ooh what a feast you are providing for your local wildlife Taff!
Rabbits or birds I would imagine!
Bears
winnie the pooh loves to dip his pears in honey
slugs
Get out there quick, taff, and gather them before the beasties get there first!
