Bloody hell, NortherN Ireland, so a 1st class stamp would cover the cost of postage?
yes
Is that the same price for a letter bomb as a normal letter then? I have heard that they sometimes send them to Northern Ireland.
Northern Ireland is part of the UK, with a large population (so mail can be moved in bulk, making the 'per letter' costs fairly low). It probably costs Royal Mail no more to get a letter from (say) Birmingham to Belfast than it would to get it to Edinburgh or Exeter. The cost will certainly be far lower than getting a letter to somewhere like the Shetland Islands (which will still cost the sender the same amount, as it's still being delivered within the UK).
