Last Christmas these from Lidl were SO popular, our family loved them and it seems the whole country did! As they were a seasonal line they finished them very quickly in the New Year but last week i noticed all the range of gingerbreads are back and a new bag of choc (milk and dark )gingerbread hearts with apricot filling (like jaffa cakes) ..........yummy.

had to stop myself buying some from tesco's the harder smaller ones with hard icing, bit spicer there nice to as a change, to the softer chocolate ones.

No Ann, there were boxes and boxes of them - but they do go quickly.

I know, the people were buzzing round the stand like bees round a ginger pot! I had 6 boxes .........
