Anyone remember some of the things that puzzled you as a child about well known songs or sayings? For example, I spent a long time wondering why the prairie would echo 'God bless the Prince of Wales'.
Also I could not understand about the green hill far away without a city wall....
And for years I pronounced the word misled as 'mizzled'.

Duct tape, always thought it was duck tape, and why ducks would use it and more importantly, what for.

I've just found there is a place called Prairie Echo in Canada - doubt if they have much to do with the Prince of Wales though....
My grandad used to say something and I still don't know if it was 'Good Gordon Highlanders' or 'Good gawd and islanders'?

And, beckers, my Dad told me that as a boy, an avid reader, he did exactly as you with 'misled', until he saw the word divided between two lines!
