No, it needs proper management which it hasn't had for years. Waste on a grand scale, and budgets that could keep small countries in business for years.

should someone waiting for a varicose vein op be on the same 18 week pathway as someone waiting for a heart op? because that is the case now. Waiting times should be based on clinical priorities

The trouble is Labour poured money into the NHS but did not try to do anything about the inneficiences.

The coalition will not match the first but try to do something about the second. The money saved from this will go back to the exchequer.
