What is the name of that face powder stuff you put over your face to make it less shiney? I noticed from some photos I took at the weekend that I'm starting to slip from the dewy look to 'slightly sweaty betty look'! I don't want actual foundation powder, I'm sure there's just a powder you put on that stops the shineyness... only I can't google the best ones until I know what to write in the google search bar!

Thank you! :c)

(Oh, and I can ask questions but not answer them here so please don't think I'm being rude if I don't respond til this evening).

Aldi makeup is good.
oh i didnt know they did that china, hmm, i will go in and have sniff then! :o)
rice water is absorbent for a base.....not too thick or you'll like a geisha
All my face creams come from Lidl!! Absolutely fine, in fact better than most I have tried. Approx £2.00. Packs of facial cleansing wipes 69p great.
yes, i used to get one of aldis acura eye shadows, was really nice, but sadly they dont do it any more.

for cheap eye shadows, have you seen the 'MUA' range in superdrug?
theyre great. and only a £1 - bargain!

I'm not going to use rice water tambo but thank you for teh suggestion.

I have a boots card boxy, I'm saving it for a lipstick (aldi don't do enough colours). Looby, their blusher is pretty good too, only reason I changed was cause I wanted a pinky colour for summer (pah, summery my ass), and again, there wasn't a good shade at aldi.
Superdrug have got a loyalty card now, too.

My face creams are from aldi, I get compliments on my skin so they must be alright!

I'm thinking of trying an aldi mascara but I have to admit that I am a bit of a fussy about mascara.
i might give their facial wipes a try LL, i use johnsons 2 in 1, and usually buy them when theyre on a bogof.
but at 69p, well, you cant go wrong can you! as long as they suit my sometimes sensitive skin, that is.
I have a sensitive skin and they do wipes specially for sensitive skin. I find them much better than other wipes, more moist and thicker.
sounds good LL, i will definitely get some and try, especially that you said they were moist.
ive had the odd pack of the johnsons ones and theyve been a bit dry.

how many are in a pack, please? (theres 25 in the J's ones)
