Does anyone know the name of the character the 60's singer Malcolm
Roberts played in Coronation Street? And what year as well please?

Most places just list it as 'walk on part'. No idea which year.

Thankyou, that's all I could find as well. Perhaps he was just an extra.
1964 i think was the year but as scotman says walk on part.

Oh I liked Malcolm Roberts, never saw him in Corrie though!
There was a singing window cleaner called Walter Potts played by Chris Sandford who stayed at Elsie Tanner's house from August to December 1963. Dennis Tanner changed Walters name to Brett Falcon and launched his pop career. He recorded a song called "Not Too Little, Not Too Much' which was played over the end credits. The single was also launched in the real world and it got to number 17 in the charts. I know it's not what you are looking for but it's interesting anyway. Kath.
