B&Q do a nice cheap system and then all you do is plug a dvd recorder or even better look on Ebay for a system that plugs into your home PC where your hard drive is used to save the recordings....

When you do buy a system, if you can afford it, get the type that is colour during the day and black & white at night as monochrome (B&W) can see better at night than colour can....
Nice decision of choosing CCTV camera. It is really very helpful from security purpose. One more system which is best for security of home is video door phone camera. It also helps to secure home. The people having this system able to see and talk to the person who is outside the home premises.
