Being as there is nothing much new news today . What do you think of
Earl Grey paying people to try their new flavour of tea . I read it was £10 a week or free tea for a year.
I would need a lot more than that . I remember one ABer describng it as
tasting of mushroom and smelling of old socks ,which I thought was a pretty good description .
I can never understand some hotels especially abroad seem to imagine its a treat to serve Earl Grey or China tea . They are supposed to suit the refined taste . I see there was a court case in the USA of a man who suffered bad side effects from EG but recovered after going back to a English Breakfast tea.

Apart from the smell and taste I find EG repeats on me for the rest of the day , a bit like kippers I suppose, but the after taste from EG and to a lesser extent China lasts 24 hours.
I can't stand Earl Grey, it smells like fish. I only ever drink redbush, or white or green tea - no milk.
Question Author
I've never heard of ' redbush ' . Is it a tea, a herb or a shrub ?
What is white tea ?
bribery sounds like improprietea, especially if the drink in question is a mediocritea.
One man's meat may be another man's poison. I personally like it but noone is forcing you to drink it, are they? What does Her Majesty's Blend taste like, may I ask?
modeller - Redbush (Rooibos) is south african tea. It`s has a pungent smell which is quite different from black tea. Another SA one which isn`t too bad though is Honeybush tea. It`s more delicate and really does smell slightly of honey.
White tea is tea made only from the new tips and buds of the tea bush, from China - very delicate.
