Am doing a quiz and need some match the person to their sport suggestions; have quite a few but would be open to changing them; would be particularly helpful to hear suggestions for female sports people and would quite like to include a basketball player? TIA

If you want a challenging one, how about Bobby Clampett a US golfer who led the 1982 open by 5 shots at the half way stage but collapsed over the last two rounds to finish 10th? He subsequently faded quickly from the scene and is now a commentator on the US Tour.
