I put in a prescription at my local chemist a week last Thursday (11th August) for a Nasonex inhaler, there was a notice on the counter saying that some medications were in short supply. They informed me that Nasonex was one of them, and said that they would phone me when it was in stock.
I phoned them today, thinking they had forgotten, but they are still not available. I wonder if this shortage is nationwide or just local (I live near Selby, North Yorkshire.
