A bit, yes. A friend gave me a CD of their work. You could imagine they're singing really ancient songs, but as Bulgaria used to be a communist country they might be singing about the production on collective farms.
from what I hear sandy, it hasn't moved on any, we were there in the early 90s just after they broke away from the SU, it was quite bleak back then as I recall
good morning Bobbi - I know you are going to Bulgaria on I think 19th - will you like to think it is not now so bleak - particularly you will be going up a mountain. I marvel at people living in these conditions - I have a friend who was an archeologist caucausian went to Ethopia - set up a home for the little black children - is now married to a black man, adopted 2 black boys and it takes 3-4 hours from the main road to get into heart of the jungle where she now lives. PS Home she ran is now run by a committee - her family disowned her for doing all this lovely work - I guess they were disappointed that of the hard work she done becoming an archeologist - she ended up in the jungle.
Morning Conn, I am not doing anything as gallant as that I'm afraid, a little remote I believe but in a village none the less :-)
