That's just the first two episodes!
It's brilliant, she is so cute and independant. I'm not too sure about the mother though, she can be a tad strange at times.,
Question Author
neti, I loved her mum!! I think when you watch all the episodes, you see what a close bond they have & why!
Question Author
Not sure if I have those episodes back to front!
I too love this Quassia. She's a great girl, knows exactly what she wants from life. Sometimes I feel sorry for her Mum as she's not as strong as her girl. So glad Dad's back in her life.

You know notas, I think her mum was & 'is' strong ... She made a decision early on to bring Yazz up on her own, well ... with the help of her parents. She realised she couldn't have dad around in those circumstances. Yazzes grandparents were there to help & not judge, I thought that was fantastic parenting from them! It was understandable in the end for mum to be so lost, as any parent is when there kids take their first steps in the big wide world... more so I think, as jazz & her mum shared between them this restricted growth & all the difficulties that resulted from that & that would inevitably tie them even closer.
Yes, you're probably right Quassia, but by 'not as strong' I mean that to me she is coming over too dependant on Jazz's Dad and I feel that she cares for him more than he cares for her. I could be wrong of course, but it's a very strong feeling I have. Because of her size, it's worse for her when Jazz srtarted to become dependant, but she's lucky in Jazz, she'll always be there for her Mum. The grandparents are fantastic - such a great programme all round.
I agree with net, her mum is a bit strange at times, I'm not so keen on her, but I think Jaz is absolutely lovely.

Jaz was her mum's carer before she went away, so now her mum has transferred her dependency to Jaz's dad and I feel sorry for him. I think all he wanted was to be a dad to his daughter and to make up for the lost years when he didn't see her.
I did watch the second part, and it very good, the dad finally turning his life round was good for her, and she is certainly a nice girl, with a great bubbly personality.

Tizzi,
what did you find strange about Jazz's mum? I found her completely grounded.
em ... I found the programme very moving!
just saw your thread quassia about jazz, oh wasnt she just so lovely?!
i really enjoyed the programme,
would love to meet her in real life, thought she was great :o)
But did you see the last one - her Dad back on drugs after being clean for so long and Jaz saying that he's chosen drugs over her again. Very sad, I'd love to know what happens next.
