XBox Steering Wheel. What would you buy?

Thinking of buying husband a steering wheel set up for the Xbox. Have started looking at the makes, models and prices vary so much.

Any advice please. I dont want to spend a great deal because its an additional christmas pressie.

steering wheels traditionally arent that good for consoles and tend not to respond as well as your basic controller but whichever steering wheel you buy try and get one thats 'force feedback' ie has resistance in-built to give a more realistic feel.

I bought a Logitech (I think) wheel for my Xbox and it's pants. The controller gives you loads more control although using pedals for accelerator and brake is good. How about getting a wireless controller or a subscription to xbox live (if you've got broadband) or put it towards an Xbox 360. Though there may be good wheels out there.

Have wireless and xbox live and not all that keen on the new 360 at the moment. I take it the general consensus is not to bother! LOL
