has anyone gone from Sky HD box to Virgin Tivo?

I have Broadband and phone line with Virgin and Tv with Sky. Its too expensive to use two companies, so I want to be with one or the other. My sister has sky broadband and says it slow even with a new pc.

Anyone gone from sky to virgin for everything and been happy?
