No Sound on lap top?

Hi,

I've just tried to watch a film on my laptop and I can't get the sound to work.

Any ideas how to get it going again ase.

What does the tab in display books = Faster mean (is it an acronym?)

IE8 problems

Hi,

I did all that. I have the laptop sound on full and the dvd sound on full but still nothing.

There is sound as it pings andstuff when it comes on and when the cards shuffle for spider :)
