Restoring hidden files

I just changed a windows folder attributes to read only and hidden. I didnt think it would be hidden from me, just other users! How do i change it back, i cant find it anywhere!

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Folder Options > View > Show Hidden Files & Folders

That's the route in Windows Millenium. It should be fairly similar in other versions of Windows.

Double click My Computer then Tools... Folder Options...View...Show Hidden Files and Folders. That my way in Win XP.
