Following a recommendation from an ABer, I bought a set of expensive pans. Best things I ever bought (almost). Lovely to cook with and a dream to clean. They are fab and worth every penny.

Also, I stay in a lot of hotels and since learning of it from an ABer, I now leave the bog roll folded into a nice little plant pot. Looks so much cuter than the usual boring triangle.

Yes, I am bonkers and some would say "get a life". Hey ho, live and let live, that's what I say. :o)

So....have you learned anything from your time on AB?

absolutely -have had amazing info - particularly from the computer boys - was saved a huge bill by JTHat re my drains - had enormous support when I had my op -110% vote from me

Thanks again Mrs C; I did that. They are £90 for a set and Raymond Blanc uses them, so perhaps I may indulge.

Is there an easy way of watching latest AB entries as they come in, please? I find I have to scroll back to the start which is quite time consuming. Still, it beats the box any night, and especially Saturdays.

Just as an aside, QC, I had a meal at Raymond Blanc's restaurant in Oxfordshire a few weeks ago. Very, very expensive but fantastic...certainly a night to remember.

Know what you mean about having to scroll through the threads...it's a pain. Don't know of any way round it though. :o(

Agree 100% about the computer help, Carmalee. When I first signed up to AB, I was pretty hopeless on the 'puter. I've learned so much from the clever peeps on AB.

yes i have learned a lot,i was very ill when i first came on ab,it gave me a new lease of life,i have learnt to work the computer better,nobody bothers about my spelling,i have a good laugh and made some really nice friends ,so what i would like to say to you guys THaNK YOU for being patient with me x x x kate
