I'm having a new kitchen - cream doors, slate effect worktop with cream tiles above. I feel I need something to break up the cream tiles but want some ideas. I'm thinking of black/dark grey tiles or border but wonder about what sort of pattern to put them in. Any ideas would be gratefully received.

I've got random tile transfers in my kitchen to break up a plain stretch of tiles - you can buy tile transfers in Homebase and B&Q - if you don't like them, you can take them off or replace them.

We got some picture tiles, a series of tiles that make up and old village scene, nice.
I had intended to use cream and emerald green tiles in my bathroom, until I found them difficult to find, and settled on a more pastel colour scheme. You may wish to consider it though.
I think Trim's idea is a good one.
