I don't get the latest Argos advert. What are they trying to say with all the goods looking as if they've been made out of a type of lego?

I'm probably missing a very obvious point, but it is now starting to drive me mad!

Oh OK. I think 'ish' is a good description!

Thanks.
I thought it was meant to demonstrate that those objects ordered on line were still virtual and with Argos you can get the actual item same day in their stores
Question Author
Yep. That makes sense too. Glad I'm not missing anything too obvious. Seems to be open to some interpretation.

Ta!
my hubby says its to do with pixels and online
Question Author
Thanks encee. Not just me wondering then.
Sorry to go off the subject, but what beautiful dogs on these avatars! encee what is that lovely dog's name ?
Question Author
Oh! Harry wants to know why you didn't ask his name!
Maybe I have the wrong end of the stick, but I interpreted it to be not a specific brand. i.e. the headphones are pixilated so you can't say they are being specific about sony head phones but that you can get many brands.
Sorry Harry, beautiful boy - but I did say beautiful 'dogs' xxx
Question Author
Davethedog - thanks for that - I'll take more notice when it's on next to see if that seems right.

notasyoungasiwas - he forgives you. He's pleased you called him beautiful but you didn't ask his name. He's OK now - he's just very insecure!
Don't be insecure Harry you're gorgeous! Still waiting for encee's dog's name.
I have seem this ad - it makes me think that the goods are rubbish and will fall to bits. But I must say I haven't studied it.
They are trying to undermine online purchasing on Amazon, Woolies, Tesco etc for goods which you have to wait for (and may not turn up) by comparing it with the certainty of (even if reserving online) being able to collect goods immediately from a real store.
Ive been wondering the same as the OP, glad someone else has come up with a reasonable answerr
