That's a lovely video, Masma.

I've posted this several times before but I make no excuses for posting it again!

This doesn't call for a great deal of musical talent from the kids (and it's the sort of 'sickly sweet' thing that only US TV could do) but it's still kinda' cute ;-)

I don't know any child musical prodigies so can't post, but I liked both of those.
Wonderful stuff, children s voices usually reduce me to tears, in a good way.
Mamya;
You probably know how to view Youtube videos in full screen but, just in case you don't, I'll mention that you click the button with the four arrows to the bottom right of the video. (Press 'Esc' to get back to normal mode).

I mention that because you need to watch this video in full screen mode to see the happy faces of the kids. (I watch this frequently, as it can always cheer me up!):

This wee guy has a good voice and he controls it well.

Chris - those little boys had some really dodgy haircuts.

Has Noisy returned?
Blow the hair cuts! What about the red stockings?
;-)

Noisy's not back yet but I'm still hopeful that she'll return. (Even though she spent most of her time in my garden, or in my house, and lived largely on the food put out for her, I think that it's likely that sdhe occasionally returned to her 'real' owners. i.e. she was never really a true 'stray', she just liked my house best. If so, her 'real' owners might have put her in a cattery while they're away on holiday, not realising that she's got an alternative home!)
It would be nice to know that she is okay.

My two are lurking in my peripheral vision - not sure what they are up go. How long can they stare at people for?

Night all

I have to confirm a strong aversion to 'cute' in all its forms - which includes all the videos posted here.

For me, children singing adult songs fits the same catagory as Doctor Johnson's pronouncement about women preaching -

"It's akin to a dog waling on its hind legs - it's not that it is done badly, rather that one is surprised to see it done at all."

I found it slightly disturbing!
Just played the 'Amazing Grace' clip - it reminded me of Whitney Houston singing 'I Will Always Love You' - mimiced and parroted technique by a singer who has not the slightest inkling of how to impart the emotional range and impact which the song requires, but simply regurgitates a style of sliding all around key notes and gulping and hiccuping in aan attempted show of non-existant and un-felt emotion.

In the case of Whitney, this is simply lowest-commondenominator elevator music for people who don;t really like or understand what emotion through music is all about. It's done for profit.

In the case of a child who cannot know of what he sings, it is more than slightly creepy, and to be disuaded at every opportunity.
Buenchico that is the most astonishing video of the 7 year old,
i have passed to it a few mates
