Good morning all, quick morning pop in, I think we turned a corner yesterday as DH kept two lots of solid food down (nightmare time, don't ask.....) and has slept well.
I will post a bit more later, lol a Neti, get the fashion police!
(not really Neti, I am seriously thinking of jeggings for the winter worn with a huge sweatshirt....if my swollen knee goes down :-( )
Morning all, well done Mr Woofy

Ha ha woofy I got some jeggings and they looked awful so have never worn them!
Going back to Harry potter, I watched the first 2 films but found them very dark and dismal, and to be honest they all seemed the same. I just couldn't keep up! Anyway am looking forward to seeing the last one (in two parts) as I believe Alan Rickman is either evil or good and I love him!
Hi All.
I hope Mr W is feeling a lot better today. Get some rest when you can Woofy. Thinking about you both.

I daren't think of me in jeggings Neti. My legs are so thin I'd look dreadful.

As you can see I failed to make the 1000. Will we be getting moved on by the Ed in a bit or what?

Harry Potter reigned supreme. I thought it was rounded off very well. I suppose though that I'm glad it has come to an end as I am now into collecting Johnny Depp DVDs of his early films. I can get them cheap on line and from some Charity Shops. I'm saving them to watch in the dark cold nights of Winter.
Have got my neighbours brown bin to start filling up with my garden rubbish. They are collecting tomorrow. We'll see if they put my bin back where they got it from and I wont have to go looking all round the close for it. I should stop moaning shouldn't there are worse things to be bothered with.

The sun is shining and it's a lovely morning. I'm off for a walk today somewhere so I'll see yer later 'gater(s)

Have a good day Biddyfriends!
Morning potterers. Glorious weather, washing done... made a feeble effort with some squirt arond the bathroom...opened the shed that needs clearing and slammed the door shut again...and now I'm thinking about what not to do next. :o)

well done Mr W! Hope he'll soon feel stronger woofy.

lol jno, just the job...actually I was eating shaney's favoutite (srdns) around the time you posted that pic, I must have caught a whiff.

hmmm, Lottie's gawn off without opening up and I did remind her yesterday as requested...she must have been too busy packing her hats.
I've just made cornbeef hash flan and coleslaw for tonight ( I think maybe mrs s would cringe at my attempt but hey it tastes fine)

Hija had to go for blood tests at 8am and then see a medico all for work, nothing to do with being ill, they just test all their staff, which I think is good, it's a free check up although hija has no clue of who died of what in the family!!

haver done my recycling and had to laugh at the the woman in front of me threw her complete yellow (plastic bottles) bag into the recycling bin, so it defeats the object really. ooops sorry about the gap no idea how to reduce it!

Love ya , or are we moving, do we need somewhere, I mean we don't want to blow up the site with all this posting do we?
I won't cringe at your coleslaw Neti . I never make it . I buy it in a tub from Morrisons ;) It's only potato salad which I make mayo for .

Lovely day here and I've had the great nephew for the day and we went down the front and mucked about on the yacht pond with this boat of his and then walked right along to the cafe and had fish and chips and then back along the beach where we paddled .Ooh it was lovely on the legs .
I'm absolutely whacked and I doubt I shall need much rocking tonight .

Mr S went to the doctors and the GP is going to get onto the hospital to see if they can't hurry his op along or at least find out where he is on the list .

Pleased to see Mr Woofy is settling down and hope he feels A1 again soon xx
Off to watch a bit of teevee .
Hope you are all OK .Pip pip for now .
Evening each. I'm cream crackered again. Walking and then gardening.I've just got one more bin of rubbish to get rid of then a bit more root digging up, then my thinking head on for what I'm going to do with the space. One thought is when it is bulb putting in time I'll put some daffodils and snowdrops in. Come on you gardeners give me some suggestions please!!

Hope you've all had a good day. The sun has been out most of the day and it has slowly disappeared. Have been listening to Bob Harris country music programme on BBC2. He had Alison Krauss and her band on. It was really good.

I'll say goodnight now as I bet it wont be long before I go to bed.
See yer later sleep tight.

Another good day, DH very tired he has been to help a friend of ours deal with a difficult business situation but he did okay and is fine. Is it hot where you are? It's humid and unpleasant here.
evening all...another boogered biddy here. It's been a lovely day, just the right temp for me & I've probably been far too domestic for my own good. I really should have stopped at the point where I took he iron upstairs instead of the vac. :o/

I hope they can get a move on for Mr s shaney, all this waiting and worrying doesn't do anyone's health any good.

Well here's someone's cosmic order that won't be delivered...found screwed up & discarded in my front garden it read 'I'd love to take you out sometime and have sex after. XX. ...going on the fact that it was done in very scrawly writing on a local bookies betting slip I sincerely hope they weren't heading for my letterbox when they thought better of it... hahahaha

On that note I'll head off to bed. We'll sort out your empty plot tomorrow Jude but in the meantime I'm sure mother nature will bring you some lovely weeds to fill it up, the bloomin things appear overnight.
goodness, is this old edifice still standing? I hope there aren't any earthquakes, we stand to lose a lot of big white teacups
Question Author
just had a quick breeze through the thread, Shaney, sending some hurry ups for Mr S.
Jude if you want ground cover how about periwinkles? you can get them plain or variegated and the flowers are blue or white, the bulbs grow up through them and then die back down again.
Good morning,

Shaney that would be great if they could hurry up the op for mr s.

Hija went out again last night and blow me if she didn't come in a 1am, well that is so early for her that I thought I had dreamt it, so got up 2x to check that she was in, cos then I relaxed and slept.

Hi lottie, how was the wedding? Did you Hokey cokey all night?

jude, suggestions for patch of garden? from me? I don't think so!!

Hello to woofy, mr woofy (KBO); dolly, jno, and Robi hope you are not overdoing things, taking the iron upstairs indeed!!!
This air con (we only have it on 27/28°) makes my hips and knees ache like mad in the night, really uncomfortable, but the alternative is to swelter unbearably, it's a relief to wake up!!
Morning all...
...well I've taken the decision, on my head be it, haha, you hopefully have mails.

Thanks woofy...erm, sorry I can't stay to do the pots so I got a man in
http://1.bp.blogspot....s400/dirty-dishes.jpg

...apparently he charges £10 p hr, you'll be ok with that I expect :o)
Thank you woofy for having up, I'll be glad to get away from big white cups to be honest..........(oh and let's all ignore the pain I suffer at night ;0( )
