Who is the character in Corrie who works in the knicker factory who is confined to a wheelchair? and also is she playing the part? or is she in fact mobile in real life?

Her name's Izzy (sorry I don't know her real name) and yes, she is wheelchair bound in real life, although she can stand up for short periods of time.
