picnic bag. There's another month to hopefully see some sunshine?? Anyway, thinking of foods to take! I'm thinking some seriously strong cheddar & crackers, little cold pies & pickles, sandwiches , may be some little cakes & some of those little bottles of wine! What would you take?

I took a bottle of gin, a few bottles of tonic, a bag of ice and some sliced lemon on a picnic once - a bit OTT but how very civilised! (Especially as the day out was watching the cricket!) The weather was glorious too!
A small stove, pan and washing up bowl. You can make a cup of tea on the way if needed and wash up plates, knives and forks - much nicer than using plastick. Heat sources are wood - use a Kelly Kettle (a nice piece of kit), gas or spririt - will post alternatives

Oh there was plenty of food Welsh! We loaded the car up (complete with tables and umbrellas!) and met up with loads of friends. We even had strangers stopping at our 'stand' for a drink! Really good day though - had to get a taxi home!
