Hi all

How do you relate the quoted width of ready-made curtains to the width of the window?

Thanks

I measure the width of the curtain pole (not the window) and then x 2.5
Sorry so if my window was 6' my curtains would be 15' so 7'6" each curtain.
I wish I'd never started this. The above should say if the pole measures etc. This is if you want very full pleated curtains, if you don't double width should suffice.
^ lol craft! .... So did you get that scotman? Or do you feel slightly http://www.google.co....,s:0&biw=1093&bih=427 ... confused! ;0)
I make my own curtains and was taught that the combined width of both curtains should be at least 1 1/2 times the width of the curtain rail.
