I sweat alot mostly on my back,  even something like getting dressed has me broke out into a sweat and I have to have my windows wide open in order to get ready which fair enough in the summer months but heading into winter?  I have this deodrant for armpits which you wash off and that seems to work for my armpits but its my back that is the problem and I get concious that my clothes are wet.  Is it a problem that I could go to my doctor about? and is there anything they can do about it.  also I would feel very stupid about going to docs about this will probably take me ages to pluck up courage

Do go to your doctor, believe me they have seen everything  ... there are some conditions which have abnormal sweating and I am sure there are things which can be done, so don't suffer in silence and pop along.
I would seriously go to your doctor.  My daughter was investigated as a toddler for massive sweating esp at night as it was suspected she had a heart problem.  I don't want to frighten you, but when something in the body goes a little doo-lally, it can be a warning sign that its not happy with something.  It could also be a blood sugar problem  Please, go to the docs.

Whats the deoderant you use, could do witha decent one, all the ones I try don't seem to work all day!

There is a few you can get, from chemists one called driclor which is what I use if not got that one ask about similar ones.  Quite expensive for a deodrant about 5 maybe more but worth it and you don't have to use it every day.  Apparantly there is one you can buy from tesco not sure of name haven't seen it yet someone told me about it.  Also you can get it on prescription my friend did that
aww cheers, I'll have a look, I've resorted to using mens deodorant which lasts longer but makes me smell like a man, which is lovely on men don't get me wrong but not so nice on myself!
Have you had a thyroid test
