Sorry ... Thread some of these up! http://allrecipes.co....amb-kofta-kebabs.aspx
Monkfish is good, but horrendously pricey! For something unusual and a little bit different, you could always wrap chunks of fish of choice in a strip of either very thin smoked bacon (stretch it with a knife) or pancetta strips to hold it together, skewer with cherry tomatoes, squares of pepper etc.
Prawns are nice too - butterfly them by cutting them down the back to de-vein, then skewer them and brushe them with a marinade of equal parts of light soy sauce, lime juice and sweet chili sauce (I usually use 2 tablespoons of each)
Halloumi - we always have griddled halloumi on our barbies, it's yummy.
i always do monkfish kebabs wrapped in spinach and parma ham.
they go down a treat.

as an alternative to the standard burgers, why not get some mince (any variety) and make your own, loads of great recipes out there. bill granger done some thai ones recently, we tried them they were luvvly jubbly.

oh my, those monkfish kebabs sound amazing!
Noodle salad. Make noodles and let them cool. Add sugar snap peas, spring onion, peppers, toasted sesame seeds and a dash of soy sauce. It's delicious and goes really well with BBQ food.
mmmmmmmmm Halloumi skewers with red onions and peppers, drizzled with olive oil and honey :)
